Our Story So Far
Grace Fellowship Church East Toronto was planted in 2011 by Grace Fellowship Church Toronto. They sent out a group of people to establish a new gospel witness in east Toronto, beginning as a small home gathering in Don Mills.
From the start, our desire has been simple: to love God, love one another, and share the good news of Jesus in our community. The church quickly grew, and we moved from a living room to a local school. By God’s grace, we soon became self-sustaining.
In the early years, we saw God raise up leaders from within our community and add to our number. Our Sunday meetings have happened in different places: first at Greenland Public School, then at Senator O’Connor College School, and now at the Latvian Canadian Cultural Centre.
At each step, God has provided for us, reminding us that the church is not a building, but a people he has called together. In 2021, we joined the Great Commission Collective, and in 2024, we became part of the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches.
Over the years, the church has grown. We’ve been through different seasons of change. A couple of things haven’t changed: God’s faithfulness to us, and our commitment to serve him.
We give thanks for how God has led us so far, and we are excited to see how he will continue to lead us in our future.
