1. If the point of the story is to pester God like the widow until God gives in like the unjust judge, then why does Jesus point out that God is nothing like the unjust judge?
2. If the point of the story is to pester God until we get what we want, then what’s the point of Jesus' final question, “Will I find faith when I return?”
Prayer is not God’s way to give us what we want; prayer is God’s way to make us want what he gives.
We think we should not give up so that we can get what we want. Jesus tells us not to give up so that we become who He wants.
